The C’zorrvum are some grumpy little desert dwellers. They exist toward the bottom of their heated food chain, but no longer. After many millennia of being eaten and consumed by predators, these scaly, two-legged creatures are not taking it anymore. Not only have they evolved sharper claws, but in an exceedingly rapid period of time, they have begun to grow long, sharp, black spikes from their heads, thighs, and tails. These have certainly deterred many predators, who now have to think twice about confronting these small, Earthen dog-sized beings.

On top of all of that, their jaws have become particularly defensive. They have a very strong bony lower jaw that is growing larger and more protective with each generation, but that is not as magnificent as what exists at the top of their mouths. Over time, they have learned to use their one main nostril to suck in good amounts of small rocks and sand, then shape and spit them out as small, densely packed spherical projectiles. Each gives off energy on its own, and they can be launched, with a combination of psychic energy and nostril air power, at oncoming predators. This is a last resort, as they can generally only create one at a time, but these small stones can hit with the force of a cannonball.
